Who in the hell invented this game?
this video did not teach me anything
After a “go” who plays the next card?
Hi, I have just read a rule online that I am confused about. Picture this, player one has a court card (value 10) and three deuces. Player two has four court cards (each value 10). Player one plays his (10) card, tally 10, player two plays a (10) card, tally 20, player one plays a (2) tally 22, player two says go, player one plays his remaining three deuce cards. Now this is where I get confused, the aforementioned rules state that player one score 4 for the double, then 6 for the double royal, is that correct, or does he just 6 for the royal? ( plus the 1 for last card of course)
You forgot to peg your pairs.
Cribbage games and tournaments, every day at GameColony com, join the fun!
But I have it with dice
When pegging play is the turned up card used in scoring? It did not look like it, but wanted to check. Thanks!
Wow – this is a really complex game and I am so grateful for this tutorial. We had a beautiful Canadian cribbage set in our household when I was growing up. I have just ordered my own one and I shall be revisiting this tutorial many times to get to grips with it. Is it at all possible to play it solo? Or would you just have to play both hands? Cheers.
A very good refresher; I haven't played in about 20 years, and now I feel ready to go. For someone who's never played, however, this video would be confusing.
Best way to learn to play cribbage is to play the game with someone who knows how to play…🐵…
Just needed to SLOW down when showing how the points were earned….
I appreciate the detail and I'm sure this is accurate, but this is one of the worst explanations of how to play something for someone who has no idea how to play.
my teacher sent me to this video and it didn't help me at all but it's understandable since my iq is -5😗✌️🐒
this video fucking sucks
Cribbage is a hard game to learn. Try this site for starters. You must read up on the point scoring system, but this site will give you hints and also allow you to practice counting your own points. Change the settings to make it easiest. http://cribbageclassic.com/
More confused now than before…
As someone who’s never played, this is a great video compared to all of the other confusing videos out there. Thanks!
i tried playing by reading the instruction that came with the set, but this video helped out a bunch
This is still confusing
I know how to play and figured I'd send this to a friend who doesnt..lemme tell you. This explanation was bogus AF
Really poor explanation
What is going on😵
Great Video!! Thank you very much!
To complete newbies: you do NOT need a cribbage board. I, unfortunately, don't have one, as they are unavailable for purchase near me. Just mark tallies on a paper!
Also, see the rules at:https://www.pagat.com/adders/crib6.html
You can read at your own pace, and the rules are very well structured.
Cribbage was taught to me by my sister, who learned it from our father. So glad I met my sister who is a math wiz. Cribbage will keep me close to the family I loss and found. Try it, it's fun.
Good video, thanks. I've learned just as much from your answers to Stuart Robinson's great questions.
Thank to the both of youse.
Pegging play huh? Kinky.
For the people who say this is a terrible lesson have you considered you might just be a dumbass? This guy's tutorials are awesome, if you don't understand it watch it again. You'll get it.
Thank you for this video! I suggest zooming in on some of the cards when playing runs etc cos that was the only part mum and I were confused. Thanks again.
Is this just a game of chance?
My father and I shared few things when I was a kid. Playing cribbage was one. This video makes me happy. I can't help but hear his voice say, "Fifteen: two… And the rest won't do."
As someone who used to play cribbage 20 some years ago, this video was the best thing I could of asked for. Very well done. Thank you!
This is bloody awful. I used to play this game, totally forgot, and now I'm even more confused than ever.
Still not sure how to move the pegs. The last example he could move 6 pegs and he went like 20 spaces ahead.
So this is 6 card cribbage? Is 5 card no longer the standard?
Thanks for making this video – I played this as a teenager (a long while back) so I forgot the rules – I'm looking forward to playing again
Nice work my man! Great video for a refresher
Suggestion: How To Play Uno Spin
What the hell. I’m more confused with this video. Lol.
I think I will stick to crazy 8
???
Maybe start with an explanation of the game's rules/objectives? there's no way to jump in an play after this video.
Hey we learned how to play! Thanks. 5 stars.
what a monotone voice
I cannot believe somebody could invent this bullshit game!!!
I just recently got into playing this thanks to my fiancé’s grandfather. This video is helpful but much more so if you have already played at least a few games. Thanks for this! It helped me clear up a few areas I was unsure about.
Guy who created cribbage: "How many random and complicated rules do you want?"
The players: "Yes."
This video shows the scores, point but not show the how to play. 😳😦🤨
